Myths and Mobs

The one question Kristy and I were repeatedly asked, whilst holidaying in the USA 7 years ago was 'Is it true you OZZIES have Kangaroos hopping down the street and in your backyards?' well our answer was 'NO' back then however, who would of thought 7 years later our answer would be yes.

This mob of Kangaroos are the locals, they visit the front paddocks early in the morning, making the most of the early sunshine that radiates the cold earth of Korweinguboora. After their morning feed the roos move into the bush for the day, returning in the late afternoon, where they choosing to graze in the back paddocks.

Now that we have them in our backyard, we just need to teach the kids to ride them to school, this will surely make an interesting topic of conversation, next time we visit the United States of America. Well at least we've put one Myth to bed, not sure about the second one.
